Plagiarism Policy

plagiarism and AI policy

Artificial Intelligence in Molecular Physics (AIMP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, and ethical publishing.

All submitted manuscripts are screened using recognized plagiarism detection tools, including iThenticate (Turnitin), prior to and during the peer-review process. Manuscripts are expected to maintain a similarity index of 15% or below, excluding references and properly cited content. Submissions exceeding this threshold may be rejected or returned for revision.

Plagiarism in any form—including direct copying, improper paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, and image manipulation—is strictly prohibited. Authors are responsible for ensuring proper citation, accurate attribution, and transparency in the use of all referenced or previously published material.

AIMP recognizes the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in scholarly writing. Limited use of AI tools is permitted only for language refinement, grammar correction, or formatting assistance. Any use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed within the manuscript. AI-generated content must not exceed 5%, and must not be used for generating scientific data, results, analysis, or interpretations. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their work.

Manuscripts found to violate plagiarism or AI usage policies at any stage of the editorial process may be rejected or withdrawn. In cases of post-publication misconduct, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retraction of the published article.

Artificial Intelligence in Molecular Physics (AIMP) adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible research practices.
